Phone Consultation Information

Thank you for your interest in scheduling a phone consultation with Dr. Becker. Please read the following information prior to your scheduled consultation time.

If you want to discuss test results (including diagnosis, bloodwork, biopsy results, etc.) Dr. Becker must have copies of test results prior to the consultation. Dr. Becker must have sufficient time (24 hours) to review your pet’s test results before your scheduled consultation. Please have your vet fax handwritten medical records and copies of test results to 815-929-0059.

If your consultation does not involve discussion about a previously diagnosed medical condition but you have specific questions you’d like to discuss during the consultation, feel free to fax your questions to Dr. Becker before your consultation for her review. Please include your name and scheduled consultation time on your fax.

If you need to cancel your phone consultation, please do so 24 hours in advance so that we have adequate time to book another client on our waiting list.

Payment is expected at the time of consultation. The fee is $4.50 per minute. The credit card you used to hold your appointment will be charged at the conclusion of the visit, unless you specify another means of payment when you book your appointment. If you’re ordering supplements, the cost of these items will be added to your consultation fee. You may pick your supplements up at Natural Pet, or have them mailed to you (UPS charges will apply). You will receive a receipt with your order in the mail.

At the end of the scheduled consultation, some clients find they have more questions and would like to continue their appointment past their original timeslot. If there is time available, this is no problem. If there is another appointment scheduled at that time, you will need to set up an additional appointment.

Phone consultation was designed to provide clients with an integrative opinion about their pet’s health, nutrition and well-being.

Phone consultation should NEVER take the place of actual physical examination by a licensed veterinarian.

You are responsible for calling the consultation line at your scheduled visit. This is a dedicated consultation line that is used solely for this purpose. Please do not call this number unless you have a scheduled consultation.
